1/11/2024 0 Comments Reaper themes logic pro xPretty far beyond any feature in Protools (goes without saying). You can cut/paste between projects, open multiple projects in multiple tabs, create sub-projects, etc. As for the editing functions in PT, Reaper has everything PT has and then more, so you're covered on all fronts. Aside from that, the only other variable is the workflow - and the good thing about Reaper is that you can set your own key commands and key sets! So I would just start altering your key commands to replicate Protools. There's a lot of different Reaper skins that look exactly like PT in the Reaper stash. I will most likely have to provide a proper ProTools install, but would be nice to show others how much better Reaper can be.Īny advise or links would be appreciated. Would be nice to be able to work the way I like but then set Reaper to work as close to Protools as possible. I see that there is a theme that looks similar, but wondering which is the best one.Īlso, has someone made a list of short cuts that mimic ProTools as close as possible? I did a search but most posts are from 2015 or before and was wondering if there have been advances in this direction. I was wondering how close can someone make Reaper feel and behave like ProTools. I'm a Reaper for life user, but currently working on a mixing/recording mini facility that I'd like to be able to rent in the future.
